At the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, we want to create passionate leaders who can inspire their employees and partner with other ambitious individuals to effect real change in the world of business. Our MBA@UNC program is designed with our unique leadership values in mind to prepare the next generation of leaders for the rigors of working in today's competitive business environment. Here are a few ways MBA@UNC can help you realize your professional goals.
Millennials, also known as Generation Y, are entering the workplace in record numbers. They are idealistic, diverse, digitally-enabled, social and perhaps most importantly, ambitious. While these are all traits that can make a positive impact on your organization, it is a tall task to retain and motivate millennials for a variety of reasons.
We consider diversity to be one of Kenan-Flagler’s greatest assets. We actively recruit talented individuals from all ethnic groups and support a variety of organizations and activities that promote the representation of minorities in MBA programs.
All MBA@UNC applicants who have an exemplary record of achievement are eligible for consideration for MBA@UNC Fellowships. In addition, applicants to the full-time MBA program are eligible for UNC Kenan-Flagler fellowships that cover full or partial tuition.
There are a number of MBA grants and fellowships available to students to help fund their academic careers. UNC provides financial aid to eligible students, which includes student loans and MBA fellowships, but a number of outside organizations also award MBA grants to business school students.
