“It took out the geographical barriers of getting a high-quality education.”

The most appealing part of MBA@UNC was the fact that it took out the geographical barriers of getting a high-quality education.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is a great institution. It was the first public university in the U.S., and it certainly has a reputation for producing outstanding alumni. People in the United States and all across the world know that. This was an important factor in deciding why I picked UNC.

“The first day of class certainly changed my perspective.”

I was initially very reserved about the program. I even got kind of a butterfly feeling in my stomach once I hit the send button on the application. What I can tell you is that the first day of class certainly changed my perspective.

It’s a very small classroom setting. You have eye contact via webcams with everyone and the way that they lay out the curriculum and the structure of the course is very interactive. I found that to be surprising, being on a virtual platform, but the way that they planned it and the technology used makes it possible. It has really made this experience enjoyable.

“It’s that feeling that you get when you first step onto your dream college campus back in high school.”

I highly recommend doing the Chapel Hill immersion. I had this great feeling once I actually stepped foot on campus. It’s that feeling that you get when you first step onto your dream college campus back in high school. Chapel Hill certainly gives you that vibe and that feeling. Once I saw the community and saw everyone else in my class and took part in it — it meant a lot.
