GLOBAL FINANCE & EMERGING MARKETS

This course develops the foundations for financial decisions in a global economic environment. It concentrates on four areas: markets, tools, investments and corporations. We will focus on the benefits of international diversification in investment strategies. We will consider the valuation of international investments and analyze the functioning of international financial markets and institutions. We will also address the management of foreign exchange exposure in international corporations. Throughout the term, we will focus particularly on the unique nature of emerging markets.
