Our Leadership Development Model

UNC Kenan-Flagler has achieved great success integrating both leadership development and career management into the MBA student experience. Our unique, action-oriented Leadership Initiative guides students to become exceptional leaders with a competitive career advantage:

Principles
The MBA curriculum combines the best of leadership theory and practice. Students will learn skills in management, ethics, strategy and communication from distinguished UNC Kenan-Flagler professors and business executives.

Practice
Students receive many opportunities to practice and test their management and problem-solving skills through leadership immersions and business simulations.

Feedback
Students will receive structured, constructive feedback and insight on their leadership style and effectiveness through self, team and multi-rater assessments.

Reflection
