In-Person Orientation Weekend
New Student Orientation takes place before the start of your first term and provides you with an in-depth preview of what to expect and how to better succeed as an MBA@UNC student. Held in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, New Student Orientation also allows you to meet face-to-face with future classmates to begin forming valuable personal and professional relationships.

In addition to on-campus orientation opportunities, you will complete a variety of online exercises designed to help you acclimate to the online classroom and better understand program information.
Online Orientation Course
Your Online Orientation is the first required course you take as a student in the MBA@UNC program. Conducted through our virtual campus, this self-paced course contains helpful information about the university, the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, online learning and how to use the collaborative features of the platform.
Synchronous Group Training Session
Once you are more familiar with the MBA@UNC technology and the overall community, you will participate in another group training opportunity to dive deeper into the details and functionality of our online campus. This 45-minute live session provides you with the necessary information to attend, create, host and record your own live sessions. You can choose from an array of training time options that best fit your schedule.
