MBA@UNC coursework is authored and taught by the same UNC professors who teach on campus. Faculty members work with a team of content producers to turn lectures and assignments into hands-on experiences that can be completed online. In addition to traditional assignments such as readings and case studies, MBA@UNC’s interactive content is presented to students in a variety of formats:
Professionally Produced Video Content
By partnering with a world-class production team, faculty members bring complex concepts to life using innovative visual techniques such as role play vignettes or hands-on demonstrations.
Guided Video Lectures
Professors record lectures that students navigate at their own pace. These lectures are accompanied by visual aids, including graphs, images and videos. Students can select chapters of the lecture to review or pause the lecture to print the on-screen materials.
Online Roundtable Discussions
Students watch pre-recorded discussions led by professors or guest speakers. Periodically, the speaker stops and asks the student a direct question about the material. Students write or record their responses, which are then shared with classmates and professors. At the end of the assignment, students review their classmates’ responses and respond to them directly.
