UNC Welcomes 32 New Students to Online MBA Program

Congratulations and welcome to the second MBA@UNC class, who kicked off the next step in their education with the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School yesterday, October 3, 2011.

The 32 new students cover the spectrum of professional backgrounds: almost half come from a scientific or engineering background. They average more than 4 years of work experience in a variety of industries and organizations, including Lockheed Martin, Google, Goldman Sachs, T-Mobile, America Online, Pfizer, Fidelity Investments, Bank of America, and Deloitte Consulting LLP.

Many already have advanced degrees including PhDs and JDs, and graduated from top universities including Stanford, Howard, Brown, Yale, William & Mary, Notre Dame and, of course, UNC.

UNC Kenan-Flagler created its newest MBA program for working professionals who want to earn their MBA from a top-ranked business school from anywhere in the world. Using an innovative technology platform, students engaged in online class sessions with world-class faculty and their classmates, leading professionals from around the United States.
