Thursday, October 22 at 7 p.m. ET

This webinar will feature two current MBA@UNC students working in the Financial Services industry. Jon and Yelena will share a brief presentation discussing why they chose an MBA, their experience in the program so far, and how they've been able to apply what they've learned to make an impact at work. The presentations will be followed by a live Q&A session.

Yelena Nolin: Yelena Nolin's career in the Financial Services industry started nine years ago with Bank of Montreal (BMO) in Canada. Her military experience within the Israeli Defense Forces led her into the Anti-Money Laundering field, where she successfully progressed from an analyst to a VP which brought her to Chicago, IL. Always eager for new challenges, opportunities and experiences, she has recently took on a new role as a Senior Consultant within Wells Fargo at the Charlotte office. The new role will further deepen her accounting and finance knowledge, which will enhance her ability to analyze transactions with the ultimate goal of preventing and detecting money laundering and other fraudulent transactions. Yelena joined the MBA@UNC program in Fall of 2019, and is approaching her mid-point within the program. The core courses Yelena took so far have greatly enhanced her technical skills, and she is looking forward to choosing electives to align with her professional goals and give her the competitive edge as a leader in this ever-evolving industry.
