Learning Track 1: Finance
New York City has long been heralded as the finance capital of the world. With widespread change happening overseas—such as London's battle to remain a financial powerhouse amid 2016's "Brexit"—New York's position as a leading hub in the finance industry has only strengthened in recent years.
Students who select this track will dive into the broad world of finance in 2017. How does NYC influence global markets at the macro and micro levels? As those markets fluctuate, how does the market react and respond, and what strategies are needed to balance uncertainty and change?
Learning Track 2: Digital Media
The ever-enlarging scope of digital media and technology provides new opportunities and challenges for businesses and brands in how to reach customers. How does this landscape affect and transform business strategy? How do established companies and brands maximize digital media platforms and strategies while remaining authentic to their history? What new business opportunities have arisen purely from the presence of digital and social media?
Students who select this learning track will meet with influential voices in the digital media industry and gain hands-on experience working in group-based digital media projects.
