Ashraf Jaffer

Ashraf Jaffer is an award-winning professor, and has been an Assistant Professor of Accounting with UNC Kenan-Flagler since 2006. Ashraf received her PhD from the London School of Economics. She has taught Financial and Managerial Accounting for 10 years. She teaches internationally at INSEAD Business School, France and the Goethe Business School at the University of Frankfurt. Her research focuses on incentive design concentrating on the use of stock options in compensation packages. She currently resides in Mumbai, India where she is the Director of her family business of retail luxury handbags.
