Structure of Curriculum
The MBA@UNC curriculum was designed by UNC Kenan-Flagler’s world-class research and teaching faculty to prepare you to be an exceptional leader with the ability to effectively analyze problems, think strategically and build strong global organizations.
We selected 20 top-caliber core courses and electives from UNC’s on-campus full-time MBA program for MBA@UNC. The curriculum spans these areas:
- Preparation outside of class, including team projects, reading texts and articles, analyzing cases and writing papers.
- Online lectures and delivery of new information in an asynchronous format.
- Weekly virtual classes in a synchronous format held in small groups (10-15) led by faculty instructors. Learning activities include case discussions, role playing, and breakout groups.
- Assignments for the three-day, in-person global immersion weekends held at the end of each quarter. Students are required to attend at least two immersions.
