Leadership Development Program

UNC Kenan-Flagler is committed to helping our students become effective leaders through the development of two key dimensions of leadership—performance and character. Essential to the profile of any effective leader, these dimensions are emphasized throughout our curriculum, which places great value on integrity, teamwork and community.

For our MBA@UNC program, we seek students who value integrity, teamwork, community and a passion for learning. A leadership development program, the MBA@UNC curriculum is designed to help you build analytical and problem-solving skills as you gain opportunities for experiential leadership development. This gives you a great deal of practice applying both sets of skills and allows you to develop a leadership style that drive results.

We back this skill development with considerable leadership practice, feedback and coaching. Through small, collaborative classes, we are able to offer you personalized support from faculty members. We also offer opportunities for you to identify your leadership style, practice your leadership skills and gain feedback from faculty and peers.

After graduation, you will continue to grow your leadership skills throughout your career because you will have practice in recognizing and learning from both your successes and mistakes.
